Brecon Power STOR

Powersystems high voltage (HV) power engineering were responsible for the design, installation, testing and commissioning of the electrical infrastructure associated with the construction of the 21 MW embedded short term operating reserve (STOR).

Kernow Solar Park – Electrical Infrastructure & Private Wire Grid Connection

Powersystems were responsible for the design, installation, testing and commissioning of the electrical infrastructure associated with the construction of the 5 MW solar park, Kernow Solar Farm, St Mawgan near to Newquay Cornwall airport.

Farleigh Wallop Anaerobic Digestion Plant — 1.5 MW Grid Connection

Powersystems delivered the full 11 kV grid connection for Tamar Energy’s first AD facility at Farleigh Wallop, installing a 3 km ducted cable route, directional drilling, substation equipment and G59/2 commissioning to enable 1.5 MW renewable generation.

Addenbrooke’s Hospital — 33 kV Contestable Connection & Primary Substation Development

Powersystems delivered a complete 33 kV contestable connection and new primary substation for Addenbrooke’s Hospital, strengthening electrical capacity and resilience across one of the UK’s leading clinical and research centres.

Crystal Rig II 138 MW Wind Farm

Powersystems designed, installed, tested and commissioned the electrical infrastructure for the 138 MW Crystal Rig II Wind Farm project.

Clocaenog Forest 96 MW Wind Farm — Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP)

Powersystems delivered the full 132/33 kV Electrical Balance of Plant for the 96 MW Clocaenog Wind Farm, installing 181.5 km of cabling, grid transformers, switchgear and SCADA systems to support renewable generation for 63,800 homes.

Fraisthorpe 29.7 MW Wind Farm

Powersystems designed, installed, tested and commissioned the electrical infrastructure for the 29.7 MW Fraisthorpe Wind Farm project.

Goole Fields II Wind Farm – 66 kV Grid Connection & 33 kV Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP)

Powersystems delivered the full 66 kV grid connection and 33 kV Electrical Balance of Plant for the 35 MW Goole Fields II Wind Farm, including HV design, installation and commissioning for 17 Senvion MM92 turbines. The project also incorporated an advanced point‑on‑wave switching solution to ensure P28‑compliant transformer energisation and seamless integration with the existing Goole Fields network.

Marlborough College – Grid Connection & HV Infrastructure Project

Powersystems designed, installed and commissioned a new 1000 kVA HV/LV grid connection for Marlborough College, delivering 880 m of 11 kV cabling and a fully upgraded substation while carefully preserving the historic grounds and the ancient Marlborough Mound.

Wandylaw 20.5 MW Wind Farm
