Beavertown Brewery – HV/LV Infrastructure Upgrade

Powersystems delivered a new 2000 kVA HV/LV supply for Beavertown Brewery, including a high level LV cable system, 11 kV isolator, and full transformer integration. Completed in just six weeks, the upgrade increases power capacity to support Beavertown’s continued growth and ready to produce beer in March 2020.

Bryn Blaen 14.1 MW Wind Farm

Priors Hall,Primary Substation 33 kV project

Powersystems were appointed by Connect Utilities now GTC to design and build a new 24MVA 33/11 kV primary substation.

Sims Metal Substation, 132 kV project

The installation of a new scrap metal processing plant at the Sims Metal Newport site required a connection that would cope with the starting and stopping of a 6 MW 11 kV crusher motor.

Stangate Landfill, Kent

Powersystems overcame expensive project challenges and negotiated a connection to the 132 kV overhead line that passed within 300 m of the generation compound.

Brogborough Landfill Generation, 30 MW project
