      As an HV Cable Jointer, you will take responsibility for the installation, jointing, termination, and support of commissioning activities for high‑voltage cable systems across a range of renewable energy and electrical infrastructure projects.

                                  Role Overview

                                  As a Mechanical Fitter, you will support the assembly, installation, testing, and inspection of high‑voltage electrical equipment, including outdoor substations up to 132kV. You will work as part of a wider HV installation team, ensuring all mechanical works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

                                  This role is UK site based, with frequent overnight stays required to support projects across the UK.


                                  Key Responsibilities

                                  • Assemble and test high‑voltage equipment, including outdoor substations up to 132kV
                                  • Carry out inspections, ductor testing, and quality checks to ensure full compliance
                                  • Lead by example on site and provide guidance or mentoring to less experienced team members
                                  • Support other members of the HV installation team where safe and appropriate to do so

                                  About You

                                  We’re looking for someone with:

                                  • 5+ years’ experience working as a Mechanical Fitter
                                  • Proven experience with oxygen & propane brazing and exothermic welding
                                  • A strong understanding of safe working practices on live or high‑risk sites
                                  • A professional, proactive approach with good communication skills
                                  • Full UK driving licence & Right to Work in the UK

                                  Desirable Experience

                                  • Experience working on new‑installation high‑voltage switchgear
                                  • Knowledge of BS 7671 regulations
                                  • Previous experience mentoring or supporting junior or trainee fitters
                                  • Experience working within the energy, utilities, or renewable energy sectors

                                  Role Overview

                                  As an Electrical Site Manager, you will take responsibility for managing and supervising all electrical installation activities on site. You will lead site teams, ensure safe systems of work are followed, and coordinate closely with Project Engineers, Managers, and Operations to deliver projects safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

                                  The role is UK site based, with frequent overnight stays away from home – Working from our Glasgow hub.


                                  Key Responsibilities

                                  • Oversee and supervise all electrical works on new electrical installation sites.
                                  • Work hands‑on alongside supervisors to ensure safe and efficient site operations.
                                  • Deliver toolbox talks, briefings, and safety communications to site teams.
                                  • Support the Installation Team Manager and Operations Manager with site‑based people management.
                                  • Liaise closely with Project Engineers and Project Managers to ensure programme milestones are met.

                                  About You

                                  We’re looking for someone with:

                                  • 3+ years’ experience in site management on complex electrical installations.
                                  • Valid SMSTS certification.
                                  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build trust, rapport, and respect on site.
                                  • A practical, solution‑focused approach and strong communication skills.
                                  • Electrical qualifications or significant electrical installation experience (desirable).
                                  • Full UK driving licence & Right to Work in the UK.

                                  Desirable Experience

                                  • Experience delivering new installations within the energy or utilities sector.
                                  • Background in HV or renewable energy projects.
                                  • Experience working on multi‑disciplinary construction or infrastructure sites.
