Crystal Rig IV 49.1 MW Wind Farm — Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP)

Powersystems delivered the full 132/33 kV electrical infrastructure for the 49.1 MW Crystal Rig IV Wind Farm, including a new grid transformer, 20 km of 33 kV cabling and full SCADA integration—supporting clean energy generation for more than 50,000 homes.

Limekiln 108 MW Wind Farm — Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP)

Powersystems delivered the full 132/33 kV Electrical Balance of Plant for the 108 MW Limekiln Wind Farm, including a 120 MVA grid transformer, 25 km of 33 kV cabling, protection systems and SCADA integration. Working alongside Boralex and R.J. McLeod, the project enables clean, renewable electricity for around 100,000 homes and supports Scotland’s long term net zero goals.

Camster II 36 MW Wind Farm — Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP)

Powersystems delivered the full Electrical Balance of Plant for the 36 MW Camster II Wind Farm, installing 4.8 km of 33 kV cabling, a new 33 kV substation, SCADA, protection and control systems. Despite a one year grid delay, the project was energised safely in December 2025 and will provide clean energy for around 40,000 homes.

North Kyle 212 MW Wind Farm — Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP)

Powersystems delivered the full Electrical Balance of Plant for the 212 MW North Kyle Wind Farm, energising 49 Vestas V150 turbines and installing over 353 km of 33 kV cabling. The project transforms a former coal mining landscape into a major clean energy hub powering around 183,000 homes while supporting large scale ecological restoration and community benefit.

Glen Kyllachy 48.5 MW Wind Farm — Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP)

Powersystems delivered the full electrical balance of plant for the 48.5 MW Glen Kyllachy Wind Farm, including a 132/33 kV substation, 40 km of 33 kV cabling, advanced protection systems, SCADA integration and grid connection. The project now supplies clean energy to around 100,000 homes, supporting Scotland’s transition to a low carbon future.

Sandy Knowe 86.4 MW Wind Farm — Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP)

Powersystems delivered the full electrical balance of plant for the 86.4 MW Sandy Knowe Wind Farm, including a new 132 kV substation, 22.3 km of 33 kV cabling, protection and SCADA systems, grid transformer infrastructure, and turbine array integration. Now fully operational, the site provides clean power for over 55,000 homes and supports Scotland’s net zero ambitions.

Sneddon Law 30 MW Wind Farm — Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP)

Powersystems delivered the full electrical balance of plant for the 30 MW Sneddon Law Community Wind Farm, integrating 15 turbines with 28 km of 33 kV cabling, a new substation, STATCOM, and SPEN grid connection. Completed in January 2024, the project now supplies clean energy to over 29,000 homes while supporting Scotland’s low‑carbon goals.

Kennoxhead 62.4 MW Wind Farm — Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP)

Powersystems delivered the full 132 kV Electrical Balance of Plant for the 62.4 MW Kennoxhead Wind Farm, including grid transformer works, HV cabling, protection systems and SCADA integration to support Scotland’s clean energy transition.

South Kyle 240 MW Wind Farm — Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP)

Powersystems delivered the full 132/33 kV electrical infrastructure for the 240 MW South Kyle Wind Farm, including two substations, 72 km of 33 kV cabling and full protection and SCADA systems, powering around 190,000 homes.

Aikengall II 60.8 MW Wind Farm – Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP)

Powersystems delivered the full high-voltage EBoP, HV design and Grid Code compliance for the 60.8 MW Aikengall II Wind Farm in Scotland.
