Powersystems Celebrates Fifth RoSPA Gold Award – A Win Powered by Our People
Powersystems is incredibly proud to announce that we have achieved our fifth RoSPA Gold Award, a milestone that recognises not just exceptional health and safety performance – but the collective commitment, care and professionalism of every single person across the Powersystems business.
In one of the UK’s highest‑risk working environments, this award is about more than statistics or systems. It is about people. It reflects the daily decisions taken on sites, in offices and on projects across the country – where looking out for one another is instinctive, and where Health, Safety and Well-being is – and always will be – PriorityNo.1.
As an employee‑owned business, this recognition belongs to everyone. From our HV electricians, cable jointers and electrical and commissioning engineers working in challenging environments, to our project managers, electrical designers, project support, administrators, finance, sales, HR, IT, bid and marketing team, commercial, warehouse, logistics, operational site teams, SHEQ and our leadership team– this Gold Award is the result of shared ownership, shared responsibility and shared pride.
Safety isn’t a policy. It’s who we are.
Achieving a fifth consecutive RoSPA Gold Award demonstrates the strength of the Powersystems safety culture – one that is built on trust, openness and empowerment. Our people are encouraged to speak up, challenge unsafe conditions, stop work if something doesn’t feel right, and actively contribute to continuous improvement.
This achievement reflects the everyday behaviours that protect lives:
- Teams taking personal responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others
- Leaders leading from the front with visible commitment
- A workforce that understands that getting home safe, every day, matters more than anything
Our PriorityNo.1 brand is not a slogan. It is embedded in how we plan our work, how we make decisions, how we lead and how we care for each other – on site, in the office and beyond the workplace.

Powered by pride. Driven by people.
Winning RoSPA Gold for the fifth time is also a recognition of the pride our people have in what they do. Pride in their skills. Pride in their professionalism. And pride in being part of a business where safety, well-being and respect are non‑negotiable.
It is the result of thousands of positive interventions, safety observations, near‑miss reports, conversations, training sessions and shared lessons learned – all driven by a workforce that genuinely believes in doing the right thing.
Looking ahead
While we are proud to celebrate this achievement, we know that safety excellence is never “finished”. This award strengthens our determination to keep improving, keep learning and keep raising the bar – together.
To everyone at Powersystems:
This Gold Award is yours. Thank you for living PriorityNo.1, every day.
